Austen's dear dairy into the jaws of death

The BANG! of guns as we scrambled ashore the "Splish, Splash, Splosh" was the sound it made as we went through the water and the salty taste. When we went up the cliff we felt the rough rocks as we scrambled up the rocks. As we were climbing we smelt the fiery smell of the bullet's flew past. When we reached the top we heard the crunch of the shovel as we begin to dig our trenches and when we're exhausted we heard the CLANK!as we climb into our tin houses.
